I definitely suggest that you search your area on the internet. When I search for travel softball teams near cities close to me, their websites pop up. There, you can find contacts for coaches and you can see if they have any spots available. That would most likely be your best bet.

Hello,
I know in NY our travel league tryouts are usually held at the end of the Summer or very early Fall, so that the girls can work together throughout the winter.
Your best bet is to contact the team and find out when tryouts are going to be held.
